Give yourself time to UNPLUG from the modern life and dive deep into daily Pranayam & Yoga, ample time in pristine Nature, healthy food, an Ayurvedic cooking demo, and use of the local hot springs.  Enjoy daily natural movement through the rolling hills of Vedanta.  Meditate on the land nestled among the blooming flowers and Oak trees as you tune into the soft sound of the nearby river.  This choice for your holiday affords you the opportunity to put these practices into “experiential” action.  When we repeat the practices daily we find inspiration and can create a cellular memory.  Perhaps you can jump start that “personal” practice you’ve been wanting to get to, or shake off some layers of stress from the winter season. Whether you are in a space of feeling great or needing to bolster up on your self-care, this weekend will be a joyfully and rejuvenating journey.

*Please read the flyer for more details and contact us to discuss room and pricing options.  The cheaper glamping option is limited so contact us soon.  We can offer a few pure camping options as well (not listed on the flyer).

The Science of Yoga: The Study of Nature and Spirit

Samkhya and Yoga are two of six darsanas of classical Indian philosophy and are intimately linked. However, Samkhya is not as widely studied or understood. While Samkhya determines to break down and understand the human being’s true purpose, Yoga provides the path to experiencing these truths for oneself. In this module we will study the history of Samkyha and its relationship to “the system of meditation called Yoga.” As we deepen our experience of ourselves on this path, understanding the underlying elemental connection between us and nature, we can blossom as instructors creating the opportunity for others to awaken to the profound potentials of the system of Yoga.

COIL Yoga 200 HR Teacher Training Informational Meeting

I love doing Yoga trainings.  It has been some of my favorite time spent in this life.  I started just wanting to deepen my practice long before I actually thought of teaching yoga.  This is a common story.  I wanted to share the next iteration of Teacher Training at COIL, as Katie is really aiming at creating a program to help practitioners go deeper in this way.  If you have ever wanted to just dive deeper into the system of Yoga and understanding this path a little deeper then come to the informational meeting at COIL to learn about the next 200hr TT.

There is a free informational meeting coming up this Sunday and another on Thursday April 18th at 7:30 pm.  Call COIL for more information.  And you can look at the curriculum here: https://coilyoga.com/200-hr-ytt/
